Pretty Pretty Party Dresses
I'm not much of a party animal. In fact, I'm the complete opposite of a party animal. The other day was the first time that I got pretty 'wild' in a long time. It started out just hanging out with my best friend, then turned into me falling down her front steps and almost spraining my ankle. I think I had one too many cans of soda (I don't drink. At all. Honestly.). Yup, I decided that that's enough 'partying' for me for one... year. But I would have a party every day if I were to wear any of these beautiful Alice + Oliva dresses. There's a dress for almost every stereotype in the book in the Fall 2010 collection, and I think I might just have to go through

For the kind of 'emo' girl, not much is needed to explain this one. It's black. It has leather. It's adorable.
This dress is a little more classy than the first two, though I would leave the cardigan at home.
For the 'little miss perfect', this is the kind of dress I would most likely be wearing at a party. It's safe and conservative, (minus the top hat) but still fun with the bright colors.
This one is obviously for the typical party girl. Short, gold, and short. Yup.(Photos from Style.com)

sometimes you just need to breathe
Last night, someone tweeted this video of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart during a Vanity Fair shoot in the end of 2008, which reminded me how much I love the song playing, 'Breathe Me' by Sia, and what a light, whispy song it is, even thought it leaves a heavy feeling in my chest while listen to it.
Watching this video made me think of light, flowey dresses, candlelight, and flower petals, bringing me back to a simpler time in fashion. When everything was beautiful. Mind you, I was 'inspired' by the song, not so much the video, as beautiful as it was. :)

I absolutely love anything sheer and draped. It's like the ultimate girlie design. So, of course, dresses from ChloƩ are necessary. (These are from the Spring 2010 RTW Show, Photos from Style.com)
Here are some more dresses, more casual and everyday.
And here's a more subtle way to wear this look!
So, that's about it for now. My Spring break starts tonight, so expect more posts soon!

V-Necks and Story Time :)
Have you ever noticed a trend and think, "Oh, I'll never wear that." And then next thing you know, you own it in ever color? The same thing happened to me when I became addicted to V-necks. I saw everyone at school wear them, and thought 'Ewww... Why would I want to look like a 25 year old dude?". Every store at the mall had them too. I guess thats how my addiction got started...
*Story Time!*
It all started during an innocent trip to the mall with my Mom. I think the fact that it wasn't my usual mall and that I was 'out of my habitat' was one of the reasons I caved. So, my Mom and I were walking, and we go into a PacSun. Bad idea. PacSun was like, the mecca of V-necks when the trend got started. I was looking around the back and saw a rack of shirts in really pretty colors. They were V-necks. *facepalm*
'5 for $20'
I bought 5 V-necks that day.
V-necks then became my shameless addiction. I wore one today, even. And I plan on wearing one tomorrow.
In all seriousness, I really do love V-necks, and they are completely awesome to throw on with some jeans and cute boots if you're running late, or to dress up with a blazer.
Did you ever go though a situation like I where you swore to never wear something and you eventually do?
Keep and open mind! <3
