Pretty Pretty Party Dresses

I'm not much of a party animal. In fact, I'm the complete opposite of a party animal. The other day was the first time that I got pretty 'wild' in a long time. It started out just hanging out with my best friend, then turned into me falling down her front steps and almost spraining my ankle. I think I had one too many cans of soda (I don't drink. At all. Honestly.). Yup, I decided that that's enough 'partying' for me for one... year. But I would have a party every day if I were to wear any of these beautiful Alice + Oliva dresses. There's a dress for almost every stereotype in the book in the Fall 2010 collection, and I think I might just have to go through

For the typical 'popular girl' or queen bee, this dress is my personal favorite.

For the kind of 'emo' girl, not much is needed to explain this one. It's black. It has leather. It's adorable.

This dress is a little more classy than the first two, though I would leave the cardigan at home.

For the 'little miss perfect', this is the kind of dress I would most likely be wearing at a party. It's safe and conservative, (minus the top hat) but still fun with the bright colors.

This one is obviously for the typical party girl. Short, gold, and short. Yup.

Alice + Olivia make some of the most adorable party dresses out there. Next time I'm invited to any type of social event outside aside of my occasional Friday night movie outings, I'll be sure to take these dresses into consideration.

sometimes you just need to breathe

Last night, someone tweeted this video of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart during a Vanity Fair shoot in the end of 2008, which reminded me how much I love the song playing, 'Breathe Me' by Sia, and what a light, whispy song it is, even thought it leaves a heavy feeling in my chest while listen to it.

Watching this video made me think of light, flowey dresses, candlelight, and flower petals, bringing me back to a simpler time in fashion. When everything was beautiful. Mind you, I was 'inspired' by the song, not so much the video, as beautiful as it was. :)

I absolutely love anything sheer and draped. It's like the ultimate girlie design. So, of course, dresses from ChloƩ are necessary. (These are from the Spring 2010 RTW Show, Photos from Style.com)

Here are some more dresses, more casual and everyday.

And here's a more subtle way to wear this look!

So, that's about it for now. My Spring break starts tonight, so expect more posts soon!

Kristen Stewart's New Moon Fashion Roundup!

If you're a huge 'Twilight' fan I am, you'd know that the 'Twilight Trinity', AKA, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, have been doing an international promotional tour for the next 'Twilight' movie coming out, 'New Moon'. And since Kristen Stewart's fashion had defentenley had a turn in the right direction lately, I thought it would be a good idea to do a 'round-up' of KStew's looks from the past week.

Let's start off with my absolute favorite...

Kristen wore a *stunning* chiffon J. Mendel dress to the New Moon Photocall. Words can not explain how in love with this dress I am! I absolutely, positively, adore it!

This next picture isn't the prettiest of pictures... But it sure is funny! :)

Next was the London Photocall and premiere. This outfit was... interesting, to say the least. I love it! Plus, I give props to KStew for being bold and going edgy! I would never have the confidence to wear that!

Love her Gucci shoes.

Here's some eye-candy, too! Rob, Taylor and Chris ... Nevermind.

Seriously, someone needs to tell Chris that yellow pants+red carpets DON'T MIX.

...Sorry.

This Balenciaga outfit from the Spring 2010 RTW took me a while to get used to at first, but now I'm practcailly drooling over it. o, not practically. I AM drooling over it. Gorgeous. :)

The shoes were also to die for. Beautiful.

The last stop was in Munich, Germany. Again, not able to find the best pictures, but I did my best! :)

So that wraps up my Kristen Stewart 'New Moon' Promotional Tour Fashion Roundup! Next up: The New Moon Premiere tonight in LA.
What will Kristen wear? It's anybody's guess.

Outfit of the Day!

(Beware: I use to model. use to. So I'm a little rusty, I'm trying to look cool... O.o Feel free to laugh. :P)

So today, I wore:

Jacket: Hollister
Scarf: Nordstroms

V-Neck Tee: Target, I believe. I have so many I can't remember! But Target always has really great V-necks! :)

Jeans: J Brand 'Boot Leg'
These are my favorite jeans, expect me the be wearing them a lot!

Boots: Black Uggs
Don't you just love the ghetto way I tuck in my jeans to my boots?

And for your enjoyment, here are some more pictures of me making a fool of myself modeling in front of my computer!

Fun story: I was taking these pictures with the camera on my MacBook, and my neighbors walk out the door, see me, give me a weird look, and walked away. I waved at them. ^_^

V-Necks and Story Time :)

Have you ever noticed a trend and think, "Oh, I'll never wear that." And then next thing you know, you own it in ever color? The same thing happened to me when I became addicted to V-necks. I saw everyone at school wear them, and thought 'Ewww... Why would I want to look like a 25 year old dude?". Every store at the mall had them too. I guess thats how my addiction got started...

*Story Time!*

It all started during an innocent trip to the mall with my Mom. I think the fact that it wasn't my usual mall and that I was 'out of my habitat' was one of the reasons I caved. So, my Mom and I were walking, and we go into a PacSun. Bad idea. PacSun was like, the mecca of V-necks when the trend got started. I was looking around the back and saw a rack of shirts in really pretty colors. They were V-necks. *facepalm*

'5 for $20'

I bought 5 V-necks that day.

V-necks then became my shameless addiction. I wore one today, even. And I plan on wearing one tomorrow.

In all seriousness, I really do love V-necks, and they are completely awesome to throw on with some jeans and cute boots if you're running late, or to dress up with a blazer.

Did you ever go though a situation like I where you swore to never wear something and you eventually do?

Keep and open mind! <3
